Ildiko Sutoris

Ildiko Sutoris is Head of Purchasing and Logistics at Hofmann.

Her responsibilities include developing and implementing an effective purchasing strategy that supports the company's objectives. She leads the purchasing team and ensures professional procurement processing. Her focus is on identifying new optimization potential in the procurement process. She concludes profitable contracts with suppliers and service providers. Ms. Sutoris monitors budgets, costs and delivery times. She identifies risks and develops solution strategies.

She has been with the company for many years and performs her role as Head of Purchasing and Logistics with great commitment and enthusiasm. Therefore, we can say the following about Ildiko Sutoris: She always has her purchasing strategy and negotiation target firmly in view!

We asked Ildiko to write a few words about herself and her everyday life at Hofmann:

I remember my first day at Hofmann Maschinen- und Anlagenbau very well. Back then, I started as a sales assistant, full of curiosity and enthusiasm. My passion for trade was always strong. I worked closely with the sales team and learned how important smooth communication and efficient processes are for success.

After a few years in sales, I was given the opportunity to move to the marketing department at Hofmann. This change was particularly exciting for me as I was able to contribute my creativity.

In the meantime, there have also been some pleasant changes in my private life. I took my first career break after the birth of our son. Parental leave was invaluable for me and my family. Hofmann supported me in this and I was able to return to my job seamlessly afterwards.

Another personal milestone was moving to the USA with the whole family. This time was extremely enriching and enabled me to gain new perspectives and expand my intercultural skills.

After returning from the States, I quickly found my place at Hofmann again. My path led me into purchasing. First I worked in strategic purchasing and then I took on the role of purchasing manager.

In this role, I am now responsible for strategic procurement and ensure that we always receive the best products and services at the best conditions. My aim is to establish sustainable and efficient purchasing processes that contribute to the long-term success of our company.

Looking back, I am grateful for the diverse opportunities and challenges that I have been able to experience at Hofmann over the last 25 years. Each stage of my career has brought me further and made me the leader I am today.
