Mike Felker

Mike Felker is a financial accountant at Hofmann and our expert for everything to do with figures. His tasks include accounts receivable and payable as well as asset accounting. He carries out general ledger entries and is the interface to auditors and tax consultants. He also supports the reporting system and the annual financial statements.

Mike has had an exciting career at Hofmann in recent years and has taken advantage of the opportunities for constant change. In the process, he has discovered his passion for financial accounting. So we can say about Mike Felker: He is our man for numbers!

We asked Mike to write a few words about himself and his everyday life at Hofmann:

I started my career at Hofmann as a temporary employee in the warehouse and logistics department. I quickly felt at home and appreciated the family atmosphere in our production halls. Therfore, I was all the more pleased to be offered a permanent position shortly afterwards and to become a member of the Hofmann family.

I initially worked as a warehouse clerk for a while until a colleague drew my attention to the internally advertised position for a financial accountant. This opportunity motivated me to do further training. I deepened my knowledge in various seminars and finally applied successfully for the open position.

Today, as a financial accountant, I am particularly fascinated by the mix of routine tasks and challenges as well as the opportunity to strategically plan the day ahead.

The independent work and the orientation towards internal guidelines and applicable laws enrich my work. Together with my team, I continuously optimize day-to-day processes, drive forward the digitalization of the department and thus ensure the constant improvement of our processes.

For me, Hofmann is sometimes crazy and sometimes straightforward - with a special degree of complexity. We experience a fascinating mix of creativity and structure every day. This complexity is what defines us and shapes our cohesion.
