Rita Krohn

- Commercial clerk in the administration department -

"I have a great affinity for numbers and for me there is information behind every statement and invoice."

Rita Krohn is a commercial clerk in the administration department at Hofmann. Her tasks include ensuring the smooth running of reception and administration. She also supports our financial accounting department with invoice verification and accounts payable.

She is a real asset to the team and her flexibility allows her to support many areas at Hofmann. So we can say about Rita Krohn: she is a true all-rounder!

We asked Rita to write a few words about herself and her everyday life at Hofmann:

I have been working at Hofmann since May 2015 and feel very comfortable. My tasks are varied and extensive. I particularly like the fact that I have probably the largest office at Hofmann. The reception is an ideal place to talk to our visitors thanks to its open area. It is important to me that our guests feel comfortable at all times. That's why I always try to respond to them individually so that a relationship of trust is established in a relaxed conversation.

Over the last few years, I have been able to support some great projects. The most interesting project for me was definitely travel expense accounting. It may not sound that exciting at first, but for me it's all about the details. I have a great affinity for numbers and for me there is information behind every statement and invoice.

If a mistake is made in the billing, and that can always happen, I'm grateful that my colleagues come to me. I appreciate the direct and honest approach and am very happy with how open, helpful and friendly my colleagues are.

My goal for the future is to stay healthy - health is the most important thing in life. In my private life, I would like to travel a bit more with my bikes in my luggage in the next few years. And pursue my passion more: writing poetry. When I'm sitting by the Rhine, I often come up with suitable lines.

In my free time, I like to go walking through my hometown. Some places can only be discovered on foot. That way you can enjoy your time in nature more. I like to travel with my husband, but it doesn't have to be far away. Germany has such beautiful spots that it's worth staying close by. Twenty years ago, I dreamed of living in Canada one day, but now it would be far too far away from home. I prefer to enjoy the multicultural flair with a coffee in beautiful Bernkastel-Kues on the Moselle. We recently went there on vacation and it was wonderful.
