Xinming Zhao

Xinming Zhao is a software employee for automation technology - PLC at Hofmann.

He is responsible for programming the electronic and electrical components of our machines and systems. His tasks also include the development of complex control programs and the creation of visualizations. In addition, he optimizes the program sequences for PLC programs and expands standardized programs.

Xinming's analytical thinking and his systematic and independent working style make him an important member of the team. We are proud that he is part of the Hofmann family. So we can say about Xinming Zhao: with his programming, he gets our machines moving.

We asked Xinming to write a few words about himself and his everyday life at Hofmann:

After my studies, I founded my own company together with my father in my home country of China. However, due to the impact of the pandemic, I was unable to maintain the company.

I therefore decided to return to Germany, where I had already successfully completed my studies. There, I came across a job advertisement in my old line of work, applied and was selected for a position as an engineer at Hofmann.

In my current position, I am responsible for adapting and preparing the PLC machine software according to the specific requirements of the projects. I also program the control of machines and devices for development projects and support my colleagues in other departments.

What I particularly like about my current position is the opportunity to develop technical solutions and to feel the excitement when the machines are in motion and our programs are working perfectly. The complexity of the machines and the constant need for innovative solutions fascinate and motivate me every day. I am looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that I will encounter in my future career at Hofmann!

For me, Hofmann is courageous, decisive and innovative. We dare to break new ground, make decisive decisions and drive progress. I like that very much.
