What is a tire uniformity measuring machine and what is it used for? 

Our tire uniformity measuring machines offer an efficient and automated solution for quality control in the tire and automotive industry. They enable finished tires to be inspected to ensure that only high-quality products leave the production line.

Our machines are used in the tire industry for final inspection and quality control. However, they are also used in the automotive industry for incoming goods and quality checks.

A decisive advantage: our machine plays a key role in determining the value of the tire when it is sold to the customer - whether as an original equipment product, for the secondary market, as a spare part or in reworking. This ensures optimum use and classification of each individual tire.

How do the machines work?

As the name suggests, our machines measure the uniformity of the tires by measuring the force fluctuations in the radial and lateral directions on tires rolling under load. At the same time, geometric deviations such as radial and lateral runout can be recorded. All data is combined into quality classes and statistically processed, enabling a comprehensive and rapid quality assessment of the tires.

The system can be integrated into the automatic Hofmann tire grading machine (type ATG-Evo). It thus offers a flexible solution for the quality inspection of motorcycle, car and SUV tires.
